Accept Yourself Workshop.
Move through the world with acceptance and confidence in who you are as a neurodivergent person.
Release feeling overwhelmed, self-doubting, and paralyzed by your negative thought loops and begin taking back your power through self-love and acceptance by learning gentle practices to regulate your nervous system.
Not sure if this is for you?
Let me know if any of these sound familiar:
Have you always felt different, misunderstood, and like you don’t quite fit in?
Maybe you’re self-doubting and constantly second guessing yourself.
You might over analyze and ruminate, replaying events over and over in your mind, leading to feelings of anxiety, overwhelm and paralysis.
You’re afraid to put yourself out there or maybe when you do you panic and don’t follow through because you’re afraid of failure or getting hurt (hello imposter syndrome!)
Do you self-abandoned and mask who you really are but don’t know how to change it or begin operating differently?
Has this taken a toll on your mental or emotional well-being?
Do you struggle to connect with your truth and how to show others who you are authentically?
Does it sometimes feel like you don’t even know who you are because you’ve been masking for so long?
Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Like you know there’s a better way to live your life but don’t know how to create it?
Do you struggle with perfectionism and negative thought loops? Maybe you’re hard on yourself for not doing things better or more like others, and your negative self-talk is keeping you stuck and impacting your self-esteem and confidence.
If any of these ring a bell… this workshop is for you!
What if I told you that it’s possible to:
stop second guessing yourself and to feel more confident in yourself and your decisions
to trust in your ability to support yourself through uncomfortable feelings, emotions, and situations
to possess tools to self-regulate when you feel overwhelmed and anxious
to expand your window tolerance so that you can do more of what you truly desire without your fear running the show or keeping you stuck & hiding
to have your own back and to stay true to yourself even when other don’t agree with you or understand (and how to self-regulate and hold yourself through that discomfort)
to start living your life with more ease, flow, freedom, and clarity
to fully trust yourself and know that you can lean on your intuition and the knowing you hold in your body to keep you safe
to move through the world more authentically without guilt and shame but with confidence and acceptance of who you truly are
Going through the world as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world can be EXHAUSTING!! I know, I’ve been there. I’ve walked this path personally as a neurodivergent child, adult, parent, and educator and I know, it’s ALL HARD!!
I’ve tried the traditional approaches, accommodations, and techniques based on the deficit model of “fixing” people, and the control-based tactics based on compliance rather than on connection and curiosity about individual gifts and needs. The results of these outdated approaches left me and the kids I supported feeling more defeated and often even more emotionally dysregulated.
Before I did the work to heal my childhood trauma and to understand my neurowiring, I struggled DEEPLY with navigating my big feelings and accepting myself, and as a result, I struggled with showing up for myself and my kids in healthy and appropriate ways.
My inner critic was HARSH and this impacted my self-esteem and my ability to effectively parent, support, and advocate for myself and my kids. Peeling back the layers and getting to the root of what’s causing feelings and behaviors isn’t easy, to say the least, BUT it is the only way to truly create lasting and meaningful change.
In this workshop we’ll take the first steps together in observing the limiting beliefs that are holding us back and preventing us from living the life we truly want to be living. Through gentle practices that support our nervous system and increase self awareness, we’ll begin to shift our internal thoughts so that we may create an opening for a new way forward that feels more empowered, aligned, and free.
The truth is…When we change our minds, we can change our lives, because we take action based on the thoughts that we think!
If you’re ready to shift your negative thought patterns to a more self-loving and self-accepting version of you, so that you may begin embracing a more confident and empowered way of living in the world, this workshop is the PERFECT FIRST STEP!
